I will dominate 'serious combatant' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
